Please note!
Most of our CDs have been imported from Europe or Asia. They are not all shrink-wrapped, and I am not going to con you by wrapping them here just to make you think they have been sterilized in America. I guarantee that the CDs and the contents are all brand new and in perfect condition. Whenever I can, I use recycled shipping materials. They may not look as pretty on the outside, but they save money and keep the trash dumps a little bit emptier.
Thanks- Cliff, cdRoots

Arto Järvelä, Finnish fiddler
Is there an important folk artist he has not played with over the years? Best known for his work with the essential JPP of Kaustinen, Finland, he has been an integral part of Niekku, Tallari, Salamakannel, Ampron Prunni, Koinurit, Pinnin Pojat, Maria Kalaniemi 's Aldargaz, the Helsinki Mandoliners and Erik Hokkanen & Lumisudet. More recently, he has formed a new trio with JPP colleague Timo Alakotila and Swedish fiddler Hans Kennemark (we wait anxiously for this CD to come out in 2005!)

I am pleased to offer the solo recordings by Arto Järvelä, as well as his work with many of the ensembles he has worked with. Click on the titles for more information and sound samples.
