One of the most repsected of the French-Celtic connections is Brittany's Kornog, whose long history is a measure of the folk revival. Christian Lemaitre, Jean-Michel Veillon, Jamie McMenemy and Gilles Le Bigot recorded this music in 2000, and inspired these words from Roy Eales: "A rare moment came 16 or 17 years ago when I discoverd Kornog bringing the ruins to life at Tonquedec, A 13th century castle in northern Brittany. I was an early encounter with Breton music, and, thanks to them, I became absorbed with it. Here again, with the re-birth of those sounds from the early 1980's - Kornog IV - is the freshness and mitery of Kornog's musical lyricism. Their music is at once noble and modest, scintillating and majestic - like the sea around Brittany relentessly rising and descending. I am gratefull to you Kornog. Thanks Christian, Jamie, Jean Michel, Gilles for playing your music among those Tonquedec stones ... for opening up to me your magical world of Breton music."

Please note!
Most CDs have been imported from Europe or Asia. They are not all shrink-wrapped, and I am not going to con you by wrapping them here just to make you think they have been sterilized in America. We guarantee that the CDs and the contents are all brand new and in perfect condition. Whenever I can, I use recycled shipping materials. They may not look as pretty on the outside, but they save money and keep the trash dumps a little bit emptier.
