Pinnin Pojat
Gogo 4
17.99
Arto Jävëla and Kimmo Pohjonen joined forces for a unique, sometimes rather quirky look at Finnish folk music and their own original music inspried by it (and a lot of other things!). Fiddle, nyckleharpa, accordion, harmonica, mandolin and voices are the core, but they toss out marimba, mbira (gogo, or thumb piano) and generally play fast and loose with polkas, tangos and waltzes, with sidesteps to cowboy western themes, calypso, Tanzanian folk, and more. Kip Peltoniemi also joins them to sing his infamous "Minnesota Tango."
Listen:
"Two Row Concerto"
"Kartisoonivalssi"
"Mandoliinini"
"Gogo Nne"

Please note!
Most CDs have been
imported from Europe or Asia.
They are not all
shrink-wrapped, and I am not
going to con you by wrapping them
here just to make you think they
have been sterilized in America.
We guarantee that the CDs and the
contents are all brand new and in
perfect condition. Whenever I
can, I use recycled shipping
materials. They may not look as
pretty on the outside, but they save
money and keep the trash dumps a
little bit emptier.
