The band provides energetic, playful and danceable folk music. Sophia (fiddle), Anders (fiddle) and David (mandola) met on a folk music course at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Sophia and Anders were brought up as spelmän in their hometowns of Hagfors and Rättvik. Stockholmer David has a jazz background but changed tracks when he fell for Swedish folk music. Bearing in mind Sophia's and Anders' origins it is not surprising that the repertoire is dominated by tunes from Värmland and Dalarna. This summer Klacklek are providing the music for Västanå Theatrical Company in their production at Berättarladan, Rottneros.
