cd cover Halogeeni
Loistava Perimä (Peli 003)

Halogeeni is a Kokkola, Finland based trio that combines Finnish folk music with their own trad-style tunes and songs, played on harmonium, mandolin and 1- and 2-row accordions. Juha Virtanen's straightforward and eloquent accordion playing gives a soul to Halogeeni´s music. Juha has also composed most of the bands instrumentals. Halogeeni´s harmonium player Anne-Mari Hakamäki and mandolin player Matti Hakamäki are the vocalists of the trio. Old style songs sung in a peculiar way are an essential part of Halogeeni's repertoire.

More info:

Please note!
Most CDs have been imported from Europe or Asia. They are not all shrink-wrapped, and I am not going to con you by wrapping them here just to make you think they have been sterilized in America. We guarantee that the CDs and the contents are all brand new and in perfect condition. Whenever I can, I use recycled shipping materials. They may not look as pretty on the outside, but they save money and keep the trash dumps a little bit emptier.
